Fritz Faiss, always with the help and encouragement of his wife Janet, annually painted a stained glass-like window and installed one in the front window of their California home from 1970-1981 at Christmastime for their neighbors’ enjoyment.

Two of those windows are installed temporarily at the Christopher Wren-designed Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury at America's National Churchill Museum at Westminster College MO.

A Faiss Christmas Eve tradition.

Fritz Faiss studied with Paul Klee at Germany's famous Bauhaus. One of Faiss' first courses with Klee was on the subject of stained glass. Faiss never forgot...
