Zoom on Elections and conducting the observation and analysis of the current Presidential Election It assumes two stages:
• Research trip to the U.S.

Zoom on Elections is a scientific project of students of the University of Warsaw and The Warsaw School of Economics aimed at organizing a study tour to the U.S. Zoom on elections is an international research project of the group of students interested in the areas of political marketing, economics, sociology and civic diplomacy and their joint dynamics in the course of the Presidential Election C

ampaign in the United States in 2012. during the election campaign (October - November 2012),
• Analysis of the collected materials. The organization of the conference summarizing the project and the issue of a scientific publication for the purpose of reaching a wider audience. The basis for the study and the follow-up report will be provided by an empirical analysis of the key political and economic determinants of the functioning of the American political parties in the context of the current financial and social situation in the U.S.. The key components to be included
in the project are: analysis of the political parties funding mechanism and assessment of the influence of various lobbies on the shape and content of the political programs; evaluation of the impact of the Presidential Election Campaign on both American and global financial markets; study of political communication techniques, design of the political programs and electoral strategies and the methods for the public opinion management. The main objectives
• Examination of the impact of the electoral campaign on the financial markets in the context of the direct actions and declarations of the candidates for President of the United States., particularly in the regard to the banking sector.
• A comprehensive analysis of economic programs of the candidates. Study on the economic crisis and proposed mechanisms of repair and stabilization.
• Analysis of public sentiment in the context of the elections, the growing stratification of property, unemployment, and the Obama’s domestic reforms so far.
• Analysis of benchmarking in the field of political marketing. Preparation of recommendations and a list of best practices for Polish political parties.
• Promotion of bilateral knowledge regarding both nations - Polish and American. The specific objectives
• Participation in conventions and meetings with voters of the candidates as well as observation and empirical analysis of electoral operations staffs
• Cooperation with private and public partners and the academic sector. Promoting the partners and gathering audio-visual materials documenting the project
• Undergoing a series of meetings with experts from the fields of importance to the project and the organization of a conference summarizing the project after returning to Poland.
