Some of our eggplant are turning yellow! Since we planted white/striped varieties, yellowing is normal as the plants mature.

Meet the Truck Farm's Super Chilies. Sometimes kids just have to try them, even when we warn them that they are hot... and sometimes those kids end up in tears! We generally encourage learning by doing, but maybe not by trying these!

DC Central Kitchen will be cooking healthy meals at 10 schools this year, and the Truck Farm is looking forward to teaching kids at all of them!

We've expanded our school food program!

This school year DCCK will be serving healthy, scratch-cooked breakfast, lunch & supper meals, incorporating locally sourced ingredients in 10 schools around the city.

The Truck visited the Young Ladies of Tomorrow. We taught everyone about what was growing and then planted seeds and made a salad together.
