The Paris of the East, Bucharest, Romania was an easy weekend trip for Clare while attending University of Venice!

Here’s what she had to say about her weekend getaway!

“We loved the local chain Luca for super cheap pretzels and pastries, Taverna Covaci for traditional food, Ciorbarie for amazing soup.”

“Other places to check out would be the beautiful book store Carturesti Carusel in the Old Town, the Palace of Parliament, the People's Salvation Cathedral, the Dimitrie Gusti museum and the beautiful Insula Herastrau park next to it, the MARe museum of modern art, and the Piata Obor Market. We were also lucky enough to be there for the Christmas markets which were so so beautiful. I believe we purchased a 72 hour transportation pass which was only a couple of euros. Romania is also a great place for students because of how cheap everything there is!”
