Duke Ellington SOTA (DCPS) is doing a virtual fundraiser selling Double Good ultra-premium popcorn for 4 days from Wednesday, Mar 13 - Sunday, Mar 17.

As you know the school does not cover transportation to events , and other expenses they have for performances so please show some love and support their fundraising efforts for all the students and teachers to be able to participate.

There are a few updates that I wanted to provide you with. Our school is having its inaugural homecoming in December. Also, the Class of 1992 is hosting an all-class reunion. Cost is $100. Contact for info!

We know a lot of us are anxious about our upcoming 10 year anniversary and reunion!

The 2009 Class Reunion will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at City Winery.
Tickets will be available for $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Price includes food and beverage deals.
Ticket purchase will be available through Eventbrite within the coming week.

OMG!! Yesterday was our 9 year anniversary! We’re just ONE YEAR away from our 10 year reunion! Let’s get this planning started folks! Anybody interested?

Good afternoon everyone!
After yesterday’s tribute to Peggy Cooper-Cafritz, an idea awakened in me. As our 10 reunion approaches, I was thinking about a Variety Show and reception, sell tickets for about $25 (negotiable) and donate half the proceeds to the Ellington Fund AND keep the rest in a fund for the Class of 2009 for future events and possible future scholarships. PLEASE give feedback, YAY or NAY, say something y’all. I hope something can work out. We have ONE YEAR! Hope to hear from EVERYONE soon. Love you all! ❤️
