Shout-out to Arlington Co****le, where last night the spring season wrapped up, and a few alumni bonded over tossin' bags for a good cause!
Arlington Co****le was started in early 2016 to raise money for different philanthropies in the region, after some friends were starting to feel a bit ripped off by the bigger, more established leagues.
Their summer season starts in 2 weeks - if you're interested in playing, you can find details and register at the link below!

Still thinking about the Red Team's upsets last night to make it into the finals...
Big congrats to Rob Griffing and guest Ryan Fubini of the Black Team who were playing for St. Baldrick's Foundation. We managed to raise just over $300 for charity this season!

Brothers,
First and foremost, our apologies for the lack of communication recently. We’ve taken the opportunity over the past couple of months to regroup and evaluate our overall efforts to build a strong alumni experience in the DC metro area. Since regrouping in January 2016, we’ve slowly developed a network of dedicated alumni and undergraduate brothers that consistently participate in our monthly gatherings, and we’ve been successful in providing an opportunity for brothers to interact socially on a regular basis. Now, it is time for us to expand and define our goals.
With access to over 2,500 alumni brothers throughout the DC metro area, it is our objective to cultivate a strong alumni experience by diversifying the events offered, expanding our outreach, and connecting alumni members through a shared purpose. The first step: solidify our calendar by focusing on events that are both social and philanthropic. To do so, we will be hosting larger, quarterly events that rotate in focus between community service and networking. In addition to these quarterly events, we will host a number of happy hours throughout the year as low-key opportunities for brothers to network on a regular basis.
As for expanding our outreach, we will continue to work with local chapters to promote undergraduate-sponsored alumni events. We will also coordinate with the fraternity’s international headquarters (IHQ) to promote events occurring locally (information regarding an event on April 22nd can be found on our page).
Lastly, we will be broadening our communication in the coming months as we develop a group website to highlight upcoming events and opportunities for both undergraduate and alumni members.
As a kickoff to our refined efforts, we will be hosting a happy hour and networking event at Teddy and the Bully Bar on Wednesday, March 29th. During the event, our alumni board members will be discussing the group’s updated vision along with providing details regarding upcoming events. We highly encourage all to attend! We do ask that everyone RSVP, either via email at [email protected], or via our page at www.facebook.com/DCLambdaChi.
We look forward to a renewed year of brotherhood!

Brothers,
As we wind down and approach the end of 2016, we'd like to pass along a few changes to our event calendar for the remainder of the year as well as a few updates regarding the goals of our local alumni association.
There has been a change to our November event schedule as we are now encouraging all alumni brothers to attend the GW Lambda Chi Alpha Founder's Day event on Thursday, November 10th at The 51st State (2512 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20037). The event is scheduled from 6-9pm and will replace our November happy hour. As for our December event, we will resume our alumni happy hour on Wednesday, December 7th (location TBD).
As we shift gears and prepare for 2017, we are looking to formalize the efforts of our alumni association and expand upon our mission of cultivating a community of brotherhood here in the Washington DC metro area. In support of our overall mission, we will be looking to...
* Expand our outreach to both alumni and undergraduate brothers
* Integrate a diverse event schedule to include both networking and community service opportunities
* Support local events for our undergraduate chapters, and
* Promote participation in local mentor programs.
That being said, we are looking for alumni brothers that are interested in volunteering and helping us to further our organization's growth. If you are interested in getting involved, please message us via Facebook or you can email Brad Morris at [email protected].
As always, we look forward to seeing you all at upcoming events!

Hello Brothers!
Our apologies for the late notification, but we have a last minute change to make to this month's alumni association calendar.
As opposed to our normally scheduled happy hour event this upcoming Wednesday, October 5th, we are instead encouraging all brothers to attend an Open House for the undergraduate chapter at George Washington University. The event is scheduled for this upcoming Monday, October 10th at 605 21st Street NW, Washington, DC from 5:30- 8:30pm. The house is located on the south side of the GWU campus and is accessible via the Foggy Bottom Metro Station (Blue/Silver/Orange). The chapter plans to provide food and beverage (alcoholic beverages available for those over the age of 21) for those in attendance.
We will continue with our monthly happy hour event next month on Wednesday, November 2nd. In the meantime we hope to see both a few old and new faces next Monday!

Gentlemen!
Due to the large number of brothers traveling over the holiday season, we will be pushing back the monthly happy hour event to Wednesday, January 12th at 6:00pm. We are finalizing the location and will post further information over the upcoming days. We promise this is a scheduling exception for our typical gatherings on the first Wednesday of the month, so your flexibility is greatly appreciated!
We hope you've all enjoyed a wonderful holiday season thus far and we look forward to seeing a few new faces in 2016!
