In the bustling Morrisania neighborhood of New York—a predominantly Black and Latino community—The Bronx Chrysalis Montessori School emerged through the dedication of Founding Teacher Leader Ayeisha Seawright-Moses. Ayeisha’s journey from a traditional pre-K educator in a large public school district to a Teacher Leader who autonomously designed and created a charter microschool nestled beside two other Wildflower charter sites is a testament to the power of community and the collaborative pursuit of accessible, impactful education for all children.
