WE DID IT!

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully unlocked a $1 million matching grant from the DC Government!

Thanks to your support, we have reached a critical milestone in our building purchase campaign with over $4.3 million raised in grants, gifts, and pledges towards the $7 million building purchase price.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who has contributed to our effort to maintain quality childcare and early childhood education that is accessible to all.

Our work is not done, and we hope we can count on your support over the coming months as we continue to raise the remaining funds to purchase our historic campus.

We are committed to being right here in our historic home for the children who need us most for decades to come.

We will continue to provide regular updates on the progress of Rosemount’s building purchase campaign and opportunities to get involved.

Felisa Michael, a former student, remembers Rosemount Center as a welcoming place where she felt safe and supported.

She credits Rosemount Center’s wonderful teachers for contributing to her development as a well-rounded person.

“Diversity of peers is important for understanding how other people experience the world,” says Felisa (now, at left, and then, at right). “It makes us more empathetic.”

Our team will be sharing more stories of former Rosemount students like Felisa in the days ahead. We sincerely hope they will spur you to consider a gift to help us establish a permanent home in Mount Pleasant to serve future generations.
