We are less than two weeks away from our annual career conference, Ready Set Grow!
For the last three years, Alpha Kappa Psi and Delta Sigma Pi have hosted "Ready, Set, Grow!", a major career conference at GWU featuring eight industry panels focusing on the fields of consulting, finance, marketing, data & technology, accounting, sports & hospitality management, international affairs and real estate. The purpose of the event is to give students an opportunity to explore a variety of career opportunities, gain high-level industry insight and connect with leading industry professionals. Some of the companies that are attending include Ernst & Young, KPMG, The World Bank Group, PwC, IBM, Capital One and Ogilvy.

This year for Philanthropy Week, we chose to donate all the proceeds and clothes donated to Martha's Table. With our two fundraisers and clothing drive, we were able to raise over $850 and donate 12 boxes of clothes. With the money, we bought 100 textbooks, a week of meals for 40 families, and 10 bags of groceries for families.
We ended the week with our 2nd annual Community Consulting Conference(CCC) that was planned in partnership with UG MIPC and CEC. On behalf of Alpha Kappa Psi, we want to thank all the students and professionals that made this week possible!

Friday, November 2nd. was the day that Alpha Kappa Psi and Delta Sigma Pi had their annual Ready, Set, Grow! (RSG) career conference. The event has grown immensely in the past three years from 4 to 8 industry-specific panels and from 200 signups to 400. It was the most successful year to date with over 300 attendees, 35 panelists, and 8 recruiters, which will only grow in years to come.
Thank you to the F. David Fowler Career Center, Office of Undergraduate Programs, Alumni Relations, Office of Events and Planning, the RSG moderators, Panelists, and the RSG Planning Team for all your help and support.
