Let’s wrap up the school year and give our temporary home the ultimate send-off! Join us straight after dismissal tomorrow for a fun family movie night and our annual Spring Potluck.

We will have some food ready to share! Families are warmly welcome to bring a favorite dish, side, or treat to add to the table if you are able. Let’s celebrate our amazing community!

Ms. Washington has organized around 20 science fairs over her longer career! She tells our fourth graders, “you are the expert.” Love her passion and the motivation she instills in our Toads!

A little friendly competition brought our community together last Friday afternoon⚽️💙

Our Students vs. Teachers soccer match ended in an exciting tie, with both teams showing incredible teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination. A special shoutout to Jeremiah and Ms. Michel, whose outstanding goalkeeping skills kept the game neck and neck!

Thank you to all of our amazing families, students, and staff who came out to support this community event and cheer on both teams. Your energy and encouragement made the day even more special.

And we have to give a huge shoutout to Ms. Diana—you have a true talent for MCing! 🎤✨ Thank you for keeping the crowd engaged and the excitement going all game long.

June Spirit Days are officially ON 🎉

Week 1 is here and we’re kicking off the last month of school in full color. Let the countdown to summer begin ⚽️

Tubman Toads going to college!!!! Congratulations to all of our Toads Class of 2026! There is a Tubman Scholarship for CHEC graduates and tonight we celebrated Angeli, Angela, Quannika, Sara, Brendaly and wish them well on their next steps at Columbia University, Georgetown, Trinity, American University and Johns Hopkins. Your Tubman family is always 100% behind you!

Tubman is so proud of Emily Wheat and Cindy Morales who were awarded the School Mental Health Champion Award from Mary’s Center today. These two teachers advocate and adjust to meet their students’ needs while listening, loving and making sure all students are learning. Congratulations!!!!
