As we refresh our page, we wanted to share a quick overview of who we are and what we do! The CMEA actively promotes access to educational attainment through intentional programming, services, and opportunities. Our programming and events serve prospective and current Hoyas as well as alumni and the broader D.C. community. STUDENT INTERN SPOTLIGHT: Congrats to our CMEA intern Sabrina Gomez, who recently had her article “Finding Power in The Eye of the Storm” published in our school magazine The Indy! Go find a copy and give it a read! ✨

Kids2College is an early college awareness program that introduces 6th graders to the concept of higher education by placing Georgetown University students in Ward 7 middle school classrooms to facilitate 1 hour college preparation workshops.

Volunteering takes place 1 day a week for 6-weeks starting the week of January 27th, 2025. Volunteering is between 8-11:30am, which includes travel time. The Institute for College Preparation (ICP) provides all training, materials, and transportation.

Hoya Saxa Weekend is a fantastic opportunity for accepted applicants to experience campus life, meet current students, and get their questions answered before making their college decision.
