Join the SPA Graduate Student Council and the Climate Conservation Policy Club for an Earth Day Celebration this Thursday at 8:30 PM! This event will feature the AU Sustainability Office, the Compost Crew, and the WCL Community Garden, who will each share on topics including composting, energy saving, growing local food, and other ways to make decisions that help the Earth! PEEL STUDENTS: Tomorrow, February 25th at 8 PM, PEEL will be hosting a Zoom Happy Hour Roundtable Social! Back by popular demand, come hangout with some of the upperclassmen to get off-the-record internship advice, talk about courses to take (fall registration is coming up!), or what organizations to join! This will be a great way for 1Ls that are new to PEEL to meet some of the upperclassmen and ask all of the questions you have that you're not sure who to go to for. π¨π¨ Sea Turtle, Inc in South Padre Island, Texas is currently experiencing an unprecedented stranding event AND they are without power at their facility due to the weather! They've taken in 1700+ turtles over the last few days. The staff and volunteers will be working around the clock to respond to as many sea turtles as possible and ask that you check out their Amazon wish list below if you're able to help! π¨π¨
