✈️🌌 From the Air Force Academy to STEM4US! 🌌✈️
Yesterday I dropped by the Air & Space Forces Association in Arlington ahead of the Air Force vs. Navy weekend. Really cool to see the history of aviation and space exploration logged all over their walls — a powerful reminder of how innovation in the skies fuels innovation on the ground.
My days at the Academy shaped my commitment to service, discipline, and innovation. That same energy drives my work with STEM4US! — inspiring the next generation to pursue STEM careers and skilled vocations like aviation, aerospace, and cybersecurity.
We’re building pathways for youth — especially from underserved communities — to move from curiosity to careers in AI, space, engineering, and public safety. 🚀
💙 GO AIR FORCE, SINK NAVY!
Let’s connect, cheer on the team, and keep building the future together. Drop a ✈️ if you’re rooting for the Falcons, and tag someone who should be here!

📚✨ STEM4US! was out in force on DC’s first day of school!
From Alice Deal to Jackson-Reed, we’re meeting students, parents, and school leaders where they are—with AI-powered coaching tools to help parents guide and monitor their kids safely, and with tailored hackathons designed to inspire the next generation of innovators.
💡 This fall, our biggest prize? A Boys-Only AgTech Hackathon at Virginia State University (Oct 17–19). Students will explore how AI can transform farming, food, and sustainability—while gaining mentorship, discipline, and career skills that keep our youth safe and thriving.
🚀 We’re building a movement: safer schools, smarter futures, and pathways to tomorrow’s jobs.

🛑 174 DC acres for $1/yr? Council votes tomorrow. Kids still have no safe after-school options.
Our ask:
• Fair rent $37.5 M/yr → fund universal after-school & summer programs
• Or at least a $5 M pilot next year, scaling city-wide

🌟 STEM4US! Fireside Chat at Kamp Kappa 2.0: Power of AI to Stop Youth Violence! 🌟
Another amazing experience engaging boys 11-18 at Kamp Kappa. For our campfire session this year, we challenged the boys to think of ways AI could be used to improve their lives and those around them. We also shared the risks of AI and the importance of using this technology with compassion for others. 🔥 The discussions were deep, the learning was impactful, and the bonds formed were unforgettable.
For the second year in a row, we partnered with the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. It was heartening to see the boys engage, ask questions, and actively participate in all the activities.
We salute the mentors and parents who made this possible. Together, we are making a difference one campfire at a time. 🏕️💡
Stay tuned for more updates and join us in our mission to inspire the next generation of leaders! 💪🏾

🚀 From Violence to AI Jobs: Invest in Our Youth 🚀
Elon Musk is building a multibillion-dollar AI Super Plant in Memphis, home to XAI’s supercomputer, the largest in the world. We congratulate the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce for leading the campaign to attract Musk’s groundbreaking project. 🌟
But we must do more. Memphis youth deserve the opportunity to thrive in the hundreds of AI and other jobs this project will create. We challenge city leaders to invest in our future by funding STEM4US!’s $7.5 million grant request. This investment will provide STEM training and mentoring for over 100 youth in Shelby County and their families, rescuing them from violence and placing them in good-paying jobs. 💼👩💻
