researchers Jeet Vora and Raja Mazumder were recently published in Cell Press for their contributions to the paper, "BiomarkerKB: An Integrated Knowledgebase Supporting Biomarker-Centric Exploration of Biomedical Data."

The findings detail the development of a standardized biomarker data model that harmonizes biomarker information across diverse biomarker types and captures contextual information such as condition, specimen, biomarker role, evidence, and provenance. This will make it much easier for researchers to find connections between biomarkers, diseases, and potential treatments.
