🚨 Meeting re: WMATA's plans for retail and housing at the Brookland/CUA Metro Stop’s bus bay, kiss n ride, and plots along 10th St NE. Hosted by . Ward 5 CM Parker & WMATA reps will be there. Tuesday, September 10th at 7 PM at the Brooks Mansion, 901 Newton Street, NE.

Hey neighbors, I know this is short notice but there will be an ANC meeting tonight about proposed development of the 3500 block of 12th street (the 8 properties starting at the corner on Monroe St. NE. I noticed the other day that the State Farm business on the corner is gone (see picture).

Brooks Mansion (901 Newton Street NE), Brooks Room

Representatives from the Miller Group, the DC Historic Preservation Office, and other city agencies will discuss the Miller Group’s planned development of the 3500 block of 12th Street NE. Please attend to learn more and share your perspectives on 12th Street.

Note if you can’t make it tonight, the BNCA will host a second meeting with the Miller Group in the coming weeks.

This is going to be a fun, laid back community event! Food truck, lawn games and music. All are welcome! Thursday May 30th at St. Anthony School

If you have dined at Primrose chances are Rony, their head bartender, was a big part of making your visit memorable. Unfortunately he has been in a bad car accident and after surgeries, has a long road of rehab ahead of him. Please consider donating to his Go Fund Me or attending a fundraiser tonight at Primrose. The fundraiser event will be on Sunday October 15th from 5 -7 pm and cocktails and snacks will be provided.

Checked out Cool Coffee today. Cute place and the coffee was great. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!
