Mrs. Brennan’s School of Etiquette is an assembly of young boys and girls gaining knowledge and understanding on a multitude of life’s “do’s and don’ts”.

Educating these children is a top priority, yet creating an atmosphere that is gentle and fun is just as important. I am pleased to come to your home and instill the values of etiquette in your child through the curriculum of your preference.

Have a wonderful, safe and joyous Christmas.

Don’t forget your manners if you are a guest.

Help remove the dishes to the kitchen when dinner is complete. Ask the host thru out the evening if there is anything you could do to be of service.

And never, ever leave without personally thanking the host.

Drive safely. Merry Christmas!

It was a fabulous evening at The Georgetown Club. While their parents dined separately in another dining room, their children were tutored by Mrs. Brennan in the finer arts of Proper Table Manners.

The children were totally engaged, asking a multitude of questions.

Stay tuned for more to come.

Happy Holidays.

🎉 A Weekend of Etiquette at The Georgetown Club 🎩✨

This past weekend, Mrs. Brennan had the pleasure of teaching etiquette classes at the beautiful Georgetown Club in DC. We welcomed 16 enthusiastic children who were full of curiosity and wonderful questions!

One creative young guest even taught us how to fold a napkin into the shape of a turkey—what a treat to see their creativity in action! 🦃✨

And of course, no etiquette class is complete without a sweet ending. The children’s favorite part? Chocolate cake! 🍰

To make things fun, Mrs. Brennan gave the group a special challenge right from the start—one that kept them engaged and eager to learn throughout the session.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success. Here’s to inspiring the next generation of polished, confident young people! 💫

⭐Holiday Etiquette Tips from Mrs. Brennan's School of Etiquette⭐

The holidays are here, and it's the perfect time to shine with grace and good manners! Here are some etiquette tips to make this season unforgettable:

🍂 Dress the Part: It’s a holiday—celebrate in style! Put those jeans away for the day.

🍂 Bring a Gift: Don’t show up empty-handed! A bouquet, pie, cookies, or a bottle of wine makes a thoughtful gesture.

🍂 Offer to Help: When you arrive, ask the host if they need assistance. A little help goes a long way!

🍂 Be Friendly: If there’s someone you don’t know, introduce yourself! A warm greeting can spark meaningful connections.

🍂 Buffet Table Tip: “If you touch it, you take it!” Choose carefully—what you pick is yours.

🍂 Keep the Peace: Avoid controversial topics. Sometimes, silence truly is golden.

🍂 Second Helpings: Make sure everyone is served before you head back for more.

🍂 Chew with Care: Always chew with your mouth closed. Good manners start at the table!

🍂 Be a Listener: Sometimes, listening is the best contribution you can make.

🍂 Napkin Etiquette: First thing’s first—place your napkin on your lap when seated.

🍂 Help the Host: Carry your dirty plate to the kitchen and offer to assist with dishes. Never be too big for the little jobs.

🍂 Say Thanks: Before leaving, thank your host for a lovely evening—it means more than you know.

Wishing you a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!

Just a reminder…when you are engaged in a conversation with someone, please take off your sunglasses. They really want to see you while you chat.
