It is with a heavy heart that we share our dear Gretchen Price (pictured in the middle on the first photo) has passed away after her battle with cancer. Gretchen was a pivotal part of the ALA Arkansas Girls State family and she has made immesurable impact on the our program. We know she is no longer hurting and is watching over us all. Please join us in praying for her dear family and sisters who are apart of our Girls State Family. At our 2025 session, delegates honored Gretchen by wearing green in the second photo. 💚🎗️ Girls state girls we’ll always be, til we meet again.

This Veterans Day the American Legion Auxiliary Arkansas Girls State wants to say thank you to all those who have served and fought for our country and allowed up to learn from you all these years. One week ago today we entered the best state in the land! RAH RAH RAH! It is crazy how much things can change in just one week. You probably met your roommate and were just getting to know each other. You had no idea it would be the start of some beautiful friendships in your city!
