Every year, Chavez Schools honors our namesake, Cesar Chavez, with a day of school-wide community service. Our scholars showed up and gave back. This year, our students collectively completed 571 hours of service!
From making sunflower butter & jelly sandwiches for donations, to beautifying our campus, reading to little ones and , writing cards to sick kids, and even testing the Anacostia River- they made a real impact.

We are so proud of our students for leading with service and embodying the spirit of César Chavez! 💪🙌✊
