Aparna Lele, one of our MPA students, ask us to share this with all of you. Please spare a few minutes and take the survey.
Dear deaf and hard of hearing professionals in USA,
My name is Aparna Lele. I am currently in Master of Public Administration Program at Gallaudet. I am doing a Capstone paper on “Policy Impacts at workplace for deaf and hard of hearing employees” that focuses on the relationship between an individual’s perception of himself/herself and his/her accommodations at workplaces, and how much American Disabilities of Act (ADA) improved situations for deaf and hard of hearing people at workplace. The survey asks questions related to the inclusion environment for deaf and hard of hearing people at workplaces, your employment experiences, employer behaviors, policies, and procedures and other characteristics of the workplace that increased or decreased your feelings of acceptance and their ability to be a successful employee. If you decide to participate, your answers will be anonymous and confidential. The responses you gave will be strictly used for the purposes of capstone project only. If you decide to participate, your contribution to the research is very much appreciated. I look forward to reading your responses.
The survey is voluntary. There are no risks associated with taking it. You may stop taking the survey at any time. The survey should not take more than five minutes to complete.
