2 sessions: November 16 & 22, 2026
🔥
In this special form of raku, students will coat their bisqueware with clay before firing the ware in the kiln! During the prep session, students will prepare their pots by covering them with thick slip or slabs. Rachel will guide students on how to use copper mesh & dried organic material to secure the clay saggar in place. After the work has dried, the class will meet again on November 22 to fire the ware.

Join us to make a jack-o-lantern at the wheel!
🎃
In this 3-hour workshop, students will learn how to throw their own jack-o-lanterns! Brit will start the class with a demonstration of how to throw a closed form. Students will then learn how to stretch, dent, carve, and sculpt their pumpkins to transform the clay from a sphere into a festive tea light. Pieces will be fired and ready before Halloween!
