Last month, we closed out an amazing school year with our End-of-Year Celebration for our youth program! 🎉✨

Our students took the spotlight with dance and singing performances, heartfelt reflections, and well-deserved recognition for their growth, leadership, and resilience throughout the year.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support and celebrate our youth💛.

Como parte de nuestro Programa Padres Comprometidos (Programa de Liderazgo Familiar de MLOV), este mes los padres de MLOV realizaron una visita memorable a la Universidad del Distrito de Columbia. ¡Nuestras familias tuvieron la oportunidad de explorar el campus, conocer la amplia gama de programas académicos que ofrece UDC y obtener información valiosa sobre oportunidades de inscripción y becas! Fue una visita inspiradora que abrió puertas y encendió nuevos sueños para los futuros estudiantes universitarios de nuestras familias.

As part of our Padres Comprometidos Program (MLOV Family Leadership Program) this month MLOV parents took a memorable visit to the University of the District of Columbia! Our families had the opportunity to explore the campus, learn about the wide range of academic programs UDC offers, and get valuable information on enrollment and scholarship opportunities. It was an inspiring visit that opened doors and sparked new dreams for our family's future college students!

Agradecemos sinceramente a ambas universidades por su cálida bienvenida y el apoyo brindado a nuestros estudiantes. Happy Language Access Month! 🎉 Today, members of the DC Language Access Coalition, including representatives from Many Languages One Voice, Bread for the City, Ayuda, Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, Legal Aid DClaiddc, and community members, conducted a walk-through at the Wilson Building. The Coalition had the opportunity to speak with council staff, urging their support for the 2025 Language Access Enforcement Amendment! 🗣️✨

A huge thank you to the coalition members, community advocates, and council staff who took the time to champion language access in DC! 💙
