District of Columbia Council for Excellence (DCCFE) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization managed by an independent Board of Trustees that awards scholarships for tuition, fees, and other college related expenses to graduating students from Washington, D.C. DCCFE’s mission is to assist in alleviating some of the financial burden on students and their families so they can focus on graduating from college. All of our scholarships and other programs are designed with this goal in mind.

Congratulations to Natural Premier on receiving our 2025 Completion Award Masters !
Natural graduated with a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Melon University '25.

Effective August 1, 2025 we are excited to announce an increase in our scholarship award.

Journey of Excellence & College Journey Tier I : Award increased to $13,000 Four Year ($1,625.00 Each Semester )

College Journey Tier : Award increased to $10,000 Four Year ($1,250.00 Each Semester )

Please note this increase will be applied to all upcoming scholarship renewals.
