Our celebration of the people behind 55 years of the Cathy Hughes School of Communications continues! 💙❤️

Today, we’re turning our attention to the Department of Communication Studies, celebrating some of the faculty whose teaching, scholarship, mentorship, and leadership help shape our students and our School.

As part of our anniversary celebration, we asked: “As we celebrate 55 years of the School of Communications, what accomplishment are you most proud of, and what do you hope your work contributes to the School and the people we serve?”

Their reflections speak to the impact of their work—from preparing the next generation of scholars and professionals to creating spaces where students find their voices, challenge themselves, and recognize their own potential.

Swipe through to hear from some of our Communication Studies faculty and join us in celebrating the work they do every day. 💙❤️
