With this grant, Dr. Langmia will focus on critically rethinking research methodologies by advancing approaches that move beyond Eurocentric frameworks and better reflect African realities.

Our student Sage Stevens (senior, public relations major) was featured in RealHUman. She is currently serving as a media relations student intern in the Office of University Communications, a social media intern for WHUR-FM.

Our Department chair, Dr. Langmia makes us proud wherever he goes! He has recently donated his books on Black communication theories to St. Paul’s University in Nairobi, Kenya.
Dr. Langmia has been also invited to as the Keynote Speaker at AAR Conference at UNISA (University of South Africa). What a productive and cooperative trip! We’re happy to have him back at HU!
