Happy New Year! We are back into our routine and ready to get back to work 🎆⛄️

It’s been a busy week wrapping up all the holiday and winter activities! 😊

Discovering new buds on the Christmas cactus!

BBCH was treated to a Native American Heritage Month presentation from one of our families’ grandmothers and aunt. Each class had the opportunity to touch, explore and learn about objects directly from Native American people. Afterwards, the students made necklaces with unique beads. It was such a special experience and we are fortunate to have a BBCH community willing to share knowledge and culture with us.

We got another set of classroom visitors and this time in the Maple Room! Lolo and Lola helped Maple Room friends with Halloween crafts 🎃

One of our Oak Room’s parents visited and taught us about Diwali! 🪔

BBCH students are using their strong muscles to roll a large pumpkin on a straight line. They are also hammering nails into the pumpkin to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination! 🎃
