Introducing ā€œN6-Methyladenosine Modification Regulates Prunus Necrotic Ringspot Virus Infection in Cucumis sativusā€, published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.

The study explores how infection by Prunus necrotic ringspot virus (PNRSV) influences the m6A RNA modification landscape in plants. By sequencing both the transcriptome and epitranscriptome, the researchers tracked dynamic changes in m6A patterns following viral infection. The findings offer fresh insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying PNRSV infection and highlight the broader role of m6A in regulating plant–virus interactions.
