Here is My Story

Months after earning my degree in Professional Writing and PR, I had zero job leads, limited direction, no network and no one to look to for support. In college, I daydreamed about living the glamorous life as a publicist; working with celebrities and media moguls to spin bad press, build brand recognition and rebuild their image. Unfortunately, the economy was struggling due to The Great Recession, there were “no jobs” and working retail was my reality. I felt lost, terrified and defeated.

Like many others, I was not prepared to navigate life after my college graduation. However, Luckily for me; I did understand the power of a brand. I took the first job I was offered, making 12k per year and created a game plan to build a personal brand that would advance my career.

Since that time in 2008, I have mastered job searching and branding strategies that have allowed me to change my career 12 times, help hundreds of professionals make career changes, relocate to Washington, DC and increase my income to six- figures.

3. I learned the strategies and developed the comfort for networking and job interviewing.
