International Student & Scholar Services and AU Abroad are excited to announce the first International Education Week Photo Contest! Our main goal is to portray the value of global learning through photos of intercultural exchange experiences. You should be included in the photo which can be of any kind of cultural exchange you were part of, such as: a traditional celebration, visit to a landscape, trying different foods, attending a local market, or sharing stories with people from different nationalities. It doesn’t matter where these photos have been taken, within the U.S or abroad, as long as YOU are included in them.
Submitted photos will be first reviewed by ISSS and AU Abroad to select the top 10 photos which will be displayed at the AU Library during the International Education Week (November 18 – 22). While the exhibit is open, visitors will vote for their favorite photos and popular votes will determine top 3 photos. Students selected for top 3 will receive following prizes:
• 1st PLACE: Amazon Kindle
• 2nd PLACE: Fitbit Fitness Tracker
• 3rd PLACE: Fujifilm Instax Camera
