Hello RRG colleagues!

We are so excited to see everyone this week in Boston! There are a lot of great sessions and events for our membership. As an interest group, we’d like to have our social event on Friday November 14th at Dani’s Q***r Bar. It’s located across the street from the Convention Center. Dani's Q***r Bar is Boston's only queer/sapphic bar, created by and for the LGBTQ+ community, in a world where spaces like this are so few and far between. They do start a scheduled event at 10:00PM, but we thought we could meet for drinks and mingling after sessions! Come and join us starting at 6:30PM. There is a Google Doc for RSVPs!

So it looks like our group is going to be taken down. Something about trademark violations or they need proof that we are using this page for “normal use.” I’m not sure why this is coming up now, but although I am a moderator, I did not open this account, so I cannot engage in the process of appealing this decision. I think the original group founder was Rajean Moore, but I can’t find him on Facebook.

Three things:
1. I hope everyone is okay
2. The SGMRO is offline and most likely dismantled. There is a non-governmental SGM research list serv where folks are sharing information and support: [email protected]
