So it looks like our group is going to be taken down. Something about trademark violations or they need proof that we are using this page for “normal use.” I’m not sure why this is coming up now, but although I am a moderator, I did not open this account, so I cannot engage in the process of appealing this decision. I think the original group founder was Rajean Moore, but I can’t find him on Facebook.

First up, we're planning a visit to Pride Place from 4:00-5:00 pm on Friday, November 15. We're super lucky to have the ED of GenPride https://genprideseattle.org/ and Community Roots https://communityrootshousing.org/ hosting us. Pride Place is an important spot for the LGBTQIA+ community, and we can't wait to check it out.
After our visit, we'll head to Oddfellows Café Bar for dinner at 6:00 pm on the same day. They will provide two to three tables next to each other for us, so it's going to be a blast. You can check the dinner menu https://www.oddfellowscafe.com/ !

Here's a little background on Pride Place:
Pride Place, between Pike and Pine in the heart of Capitol Hill!
GenPride and Community Roots Housing are building Seattle's first affordable housing project designed to be an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ seniors. The project will provide 118 apartments, with a mix of studios and 1-bedroom units – as well as a community and health services center.
Our capital campaign seeks to support the purchase and build out of the 4,400 sq. ft. community space, the first of its kind in our community, and the first permanent home for GenPride's mission. Funds raised through the campaign will support construction of a brand-new community and health services center as well as a transitional fund to prepare the center for the future
