Southern University Alumni - Washington, DC Chapter The Washington, DC Chapter of the Southern University Alumni Federation was founded in 1963. Chapter shall be to:

The purpose of the Southern University Alumni Federation, Washington, D.C. Raise funds to support the Southern University System
B. Provide scholarships to deserving students who are attending or will attend any campus in the Southern University System
C. Inform prospective students of the advantages of attending Southern University
D. Create a network for former Southern University attendees curr

ently residing in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area (northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.) Promote graduate participation in the Southern University Alumni Federation
F. Foster a spirit of cooperation and fellowship between Southern University and its former students and graduates
G. Promote the welfare of the Southern University System

We invite and encourage all fellow alumni to get involved with the chapter and support chapter initiatives. If you are an alumnus of any of the Southern University System colleges, we welcome you to join our chapter. Your talents, time and involvement will assist us greatly in achieving our goals. The Southern University Alumni Federation just dropped the "Are You In?" Chapter Challenge, and you already know SUAF-WDC is playing to WIN. 🏆

We are competing for bragging rights across the entire Federation in two categories:
1️⃣ Most individual donors
2️⃣ Most total money raised

Jaguar Football is back—and SUAF-WDC is ready to cheer on Southern all season long! Join us at Nick’s Riverside, 3050 K St NW, Washington, DC 20007 for our official 2026–2027 football watch parties.

Our watch parties are family-friendly and will feature food and drink specials throughout the games. Garage and street parking are available. We encourage our Jaguars, family, friends, and supporters to patronize Nick’s Riverside throughout the season and show our appreciation for serving as our official watch party home!

First Up: Southern vs. Alabama State!
Join us Saturday, August 29 at 3:00 PM as the Jaguars take on Alabama State! Come early to grab your seats, order your food and drinks, and get ready to cheer on Southern!
