As part of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, the Global Social Enterprise Initiative integrates social enterprise into all aspects of the school as well as and collaborates with others in at Georgetown, in the nation's capital, and around the world. The initiative is developing and disseminating best practices on social ventures in and across corporate, government, and nonprof

it sectors. Through research, teaching, outreach, and creative problem solving, the initiative focuses on the following areas:

• Global Health and Well-Being
• Responsible Investing
• Economic Growth and Financial Security
• Clean-Tech Energy and Environment
• International Development

Georgetown University students who are interested in joining our Student Leader team should email [email protected] for more information. Our Student Leaders work closely with industry leaders to design and implement programs, conduct research, as well as build partnerships, and direct strategy for the initiative. Our partners include Bank of America, Philips, The Case Foundation, and the Farm Bureau among others. Student Leaders will also have access to partner meetings, special programs, and exclusive internship opportunities.

Thank you to VF Corporation for partnering with us to host our Inaugural Sustainability Case Competition! MBA students across the country had the opportunity to compete for $10,000 in cash prizes while getting hands-on experience by developing a plan to address a specific sustainability-related challenge facing VF and its brands.

54 teams from over 20 business schools across the country participated with 4 teams coming out on top! Congratulations to our winners:
