Last Saturday, the GW BAJA team had an incredible opportunity to showcase their 2023-24 competition vehicle at the Red Bull Oracle F1 Showrun in Washington, DC. Prior to the main event, the team was invited to an exclusive SAE Fan Fest at Union Market, where they met the mechanics and engineering team behind the RB7 F1 car and saw it up close.
At the showcase, the GW BAJA team was provided a 30' x 20' activation space to display their new competition vehicle. The event was a huge success, with around 30,000 people in attendance. The booth was open from 1-6 pm and received hundreds of visitors who were fascinated by the vehicle and the club.
The team also participated in the SAE Parade, driving their car up and down the track on Pennsylvania Avenue twice to showcase its abilities. This was an incredible opportunity for the GW BAJA team to showcase their engineering skills and connect with the local community.
