Senate Election NOW OPEN!

This is an exciting opportunity for involvement within our community! The SIS GSC Senate is composed of 16 students – two senate representatives from each department (EDH, PGE, PHRCR, FPGS, Online/MAIR, PHDs) and four senators-at-large. All graduate students are eligible to run for the at-large positions where they will focus on a specific issue. Department senators can only represent their own department.

In collaboration with the AU South Asian Student Association, the GLC is bringing you a Diwali dinner on campus! 🍽️

Diwali is one of India's most extensively observed holidays. Typically, the celebration spans five days, with a unique importance assigned to each day. The intricate displays of oil lamps, candles, and fireworks ignited in celebration are frequently referred to as the Festival of Lights. During Diwali, exchanging presents and candies is a custom. Families and friends gather to celebrate, partake in delectable feasts, and take in a variety of cultural events. To make this Diwali feel at home, we invite you all to share this feast with us.
