On June 25 our affiliates will have a rally calling out WMATA changing safety policies. Whether its forcing bus operators to quote the fare, which increases risk for operator assaults, or rolling back roadway worker protections (rwp), WMATA is ignoring its own data and putting workers and riders at risk. Join us outside the next WMATA Board meeting to call on WMATA to put “safety first.”
