Verbal Beginnings Union is in week FOUR of their strike!🚨

This is a historic strike, as Teamsters 639 represents mental health workers at the first privately owned ABA clinic in the country to unionize. Workers at Verbal Beginnings have been fighting for more than a year for a fair contract. Living wages for frontline workers would reduce worker turnover and improve therapy conditions for vulnerable children.

This Friday, August 14, join the Behavioral Technicians at Verbal Beginnings for their living wage rally at the Verbal Beginnings Center (7300 Calhoun Pl, Rockville, MD) at 11:30 AM.

Verbal Beginnings Union were up bright and early for day two of their strike for livable wages!

Registered behavior technicians (RBTs) provide early intervention and other services for young children on the autism spectrum, and they deserve wages that reflect the highly specialized services they provide to their community.

The strike will continue everyday this week at 8:00 AM at the Verbal Beginnings Center, 7300 Calhoun Place, Rockville until conditions are met!
