Award-winning journalist, television host, executive producer, and community leader Shawn Cunningham has officially graduated from the Legacy Lab Institute, the premier leadership development program of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. (NANBPWC).
The Legacy Lab Institute is designed to equip emerging and established leaders with the knowledge, skills, and strategic vision needed to create lasting impact in their professions, organizations, and communities. Through intensive leadership development, collaboration, and personal growth, participants are challenged to lead with purpose while building a legacy that extends beyond individual achievement.
For Cunningham, the experience represented more than completing a leadership program—it marked a significant chapter in a personal journey of growth, confidence, and embracing the purpose God has placed on her life.

A nationally recognized communications leader, Cunningham has built an award-winning career spanning more than two decades in journalism, television production, media management, and community engagement. She has received numerous honors for excellence in broadcasting and leadership while dedicating her career to informing the public and amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.
As she graduates from Legacy Lab, Cunningham continues expanding her work in media, civic engagement, and leadership development through new broadcast initiatives, public affairs programming, and projects dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities.
