Thank you to all who attended our co-sponsored, by the GW Anthropology department, public lecture event, "Contagion of Mistrust: Jonas Salk, Tony Fauci, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Partisan Backlash Against Public Health" by Sheryl Stolberg, last Wednesday, March 19th! It was an incredibly insightful talk, and the RIM team hopes you all enjoyed it.

A special thanks to all of our other speakers and moderators, including Dean Lynn Goldman, Dr. Holden Thorpe, Avery Nennman, Paige Gavin, and Hanaan Khabir, as well as C-SPAN for live coverage of the event. This event would not have been as successful without you all!

Members of our Rituals in the Making team were honored to be present for the commemorative ceremony at the Rotunda in Frankfort. Governor Beshear reflected on the importance of remembering the 20,000+ souls lost in the Commonwealth while also emphasizing the efforts of first responders, health care professionals, and the everyday sacrifices everyone made in the effort to keep each other safe.

“COVID’s long shadow touched all of our lives ... you don’t suffer that level of loss and not feel it deeply.”
-- Governor Andy Beshear 3.6.25
