📚 This month’s Book of the Month, I’m From by Gary R. Gray, celebrates the stories, places, and experiences that shape who we are. Born and raised in Preston, Nova Scotia, home to Canada’s largest Black community, Gray offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect on identity, heritage, and belonging.

We sat down with Amanda Collins, Executive Assistant to the Head of School, to hear her perspective on the book and the connections it brings to her own Black Canadian heritage. As someone who helps keep St. Patrick’s running smoothly each day, Amanda brings so much to our community, and we’re grateful to celebrate her story! 💚📖

✨ What a night! ✨ More than 200 Wolfhounds gathered for the 12th Annual Green & White Night to celebrate the start of a new school year (the Day School's 70th year!) and launch the 2026-2027 Annual Fund. Head of School Jalene Spain Thomas and Annual Fund Co-Chairs Katherine Turner and Ted Schroeder P.
'28 spoke about the importance of the Annual Fund, aiming to raise $1 million with 100% parent participation. Jen Becker-Pollet P. '33, '35 and Pam Norton P. '33, '36, this year's Fund-A-Scholar Fundraiser Co-Chairs, offered an exciting preview of the event! 💯💚🤍
