This is where people start to feel the K-shaped economy and the cost-of-living squeeze.
As the world changes toward 2050, we likely should be referring to the social classes as: 1. Investors, 2. Consumers, and 3. the Struggling classes. It would be more appropriate. By 2040, researchers and academics will look back and realize that the advent of the "Middle Class" was a social fluke that lasted less than 100 years (post-1945).
Translation: Use this time wisely. If you don't believe me, look it up. The modern middle class was a recent creation in human history. I know Bridgerton is messing you up, but think more Game of Thrones without dragons. Not the noble houses, the extras with no speaking lines. Yep, if you were born at any other time, you would likely be working for food for 10 hours daily with no education. And dare I say it, no internet. Just work, church, and more work.
If you were Black... tun tun tunnnnn.
Yep, I'm a fan of 2026. I'm not trying to make any time before that great again.
