On March 9th, Jillian Blair, a member of GW/DCPS Cohort 2, led her triad in an Equity Visit at H.D. Woodson High School. She was joined by two members of Cohort 2 - Angela Baskin and Tiescheka Stuart - and by Dr. Tynika Young-Aleibar, Deputy Chief of School Leader Recruitment, Selection, & Development, and Dr. Rebecca Thessin from the ELA program faculty. We all enjoyed visiting classrooms and collectively tackling a problem of practice. Great work!

On Tuesday, February 24th, Monique Alexander, a member of GW/DCPS Cohort 2, led an equity visit with members of her Cohort 2 Quad at LaSalle-Backus Elementary School. The team had the opportunity to visit 6 classrooms to explore a problem of practice and equity focus. Principal Shelly Gray and Ms. Shelley Anderson, Director of School Leadership Support, Recruitment, and Development, also joined the visit. Congratulations to Monique and all the members of her Quad for an excellent job!

On Friday, December 12th, members of GW/DCPS Cohorts 1 and 2 came together for a holiday/end-of-semester networking event at Whiskey and Oyster in Alexandria. Dr. Abe Tekleselassie (GW), Dr. Rebecca Thessin (GW) and Mr. Greg Moffitt (DCPS) were excited to attend and share in the celebrations.
