Hall of Fame Bound 🏆

Howard University Vice President of Athletics Kery Davis will be inducted into the Howard University Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class.

Since arriving at The Mecca in 2015, Davis has overseen a transformational era for Bison Athletics, highlighted by 30+ conference and national championships, historic partnerships with Jordan Brand and Steph Curry, major facility enhancements, unprecedented academic success, and national visibility for Howard Athletics.

Under his leadership, Howard has continued to elevate its profile on the national stage while remaining committed to excellence in competition, the classroom, and the community.

HU has been recognized as the 2025-26 MEAC Graduation Success Rate (GSR) Award recipient, posting an 83% Graduation Success Rate!

The achievement also earns Howard a $25,000 award in recognition of its commitment to academic success and student-athlete development.

Howard took home its 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 consecutive Mary McLeod Bethune Women's All-Sports Award (ninth overall), marking the longest streak in school history!
