Throwing it back, but not too far, let's recap the 4th China-America Student Conference in 2024. ChASC 4 visited Chicago and Washington, DC. Program highlights included a tour of Manhattan Chinatown, a visit to the Chinese Embassy, a panel and reception at the Asia Group, a calligraphy lesson with the Sumi-e Society of America, plus many other interesting activities.

In 2024, the conference theme was: From Reflection to Connection: Lessons from the Past, Visions for the Future. 从反思到联结: 回溯过去,展望未来 . The delegates dug into research topics on China's cultural expansion, education and society, ethics of policy-making, and legacies and narratives.

Our Plant a Diplomatic Tree scholarship fully funds three students with financial need each year - but we are about $2,500 short of our fundraising goal. Will you help? Your gift today helps ensure that financial need never prevents a deserving student from participating in these transformative programs. This annual grassroots campaign relies on our community giving back to empower all students to participate in these life-changing programs. Since 2023, the Plant a Diplomatic Tree scholarship has supported 13 students in attending our summer conferences - all thanks to you! Make your gift here: https://donorbox.org/padt-2025
