Hello all! The CRCL initiative needs your help. We're looking to create partnerships with faith-based advocacy groups in the fall of 2012, and would love recommendations to groups you're aware of in the DC area. Muslim, Christian, Baha'i, Jewish, Buddhist, ecumenical, interfaith, whatever! Post your ideas below.
Hello all! Join us Wednesday at 6 in Kay’s Lounge (free pizza!) and Thursday at 7 in West Chapel for "Vocation, Faith, and Justice.” We want to hear from you! Do you have a vocational focus? Does it connect to your faith? How does social justice play into all of this? How are you successful in living out your faith through work? Where could you use some help? We’re looking to learn what students want and need from the new Initiative for Religion and Civic life, and your perspective will be vital. If you have questions, comments, ideas, or simply want to let us know you’ll be there, email Katy at [email protected]. Can’t wait to see you!
The Initiative for Religion and Civic Life is looking for students who are interested in being part of a "cohort" of students to comprise the first participants in the pilot programs that will lead to the founding of a full-fledged Center for Religion and Civic Life at AU.
