GW UNICEF supports UNICEF's work, and other efforts in support of the world's children, through fundraising, advocating and educating the GWU community.

UNICEF is the United Nations Children's Fund. When UNICEF was created in 1946 to help children in war-torn Europe, China and the Middle East, the acronym stood for "United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund." Join GW Unicef, Al Jazeera and GW Law's Human Rights Law Society, International Law Society, and International Refugee Assistance Project for a screening of the documentary short, "No Shelter: Family Separation at the Border," from Al Jazeera's Emmy- and Peabody-winning documentary program, Fault Lines. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:
