Drivers found to be under the influence of certain illegal drugs would also be required to spend from 15 to 20 days in jail, depending on whether the conviction is a first-time offense.
It is unlawful to drive a personal vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration of more than 0.08 percent, but for the first time, the law will hold commercial drivers to a higher standard of 0.04 percent. This includes commercial vehicles, taxicabs, limousines, shuttle buses, and 18-wheelers.

Part of our commitment is to keep you and the roads safe by educating DWI/DUI offenders about the dangers of driving under the influence. We offer small class sizes in a professional environment. For some, this class can be taken to obtain a driver’s license after it has been suspended.
All classes are close to public transportation. Immediate Certificates are available upon completion, and referral services are available upon request. It is hoped that by providing a basic knowledge curriculum, those convicted will be provided with the information necessary to make more informed decisions in the future.
The current curriculum and clinical approach employed by Aboutface DUI follows the mainstream Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach commonly found in counseling psychology, which emphasizes the recognition and awareness of one’s substance use problems.
