HAVING TROUBLE WITH VITAL SOURCE ACCESS???

Hey Class of 2018! I hope residency/work is going well.
For those who can’t access books on Vital Source. We still have access to the books. I just got off the phone with tech. Whether you have Mac or PC you need to follow these instructions

1) delete and UNINSTALL vital source
2) download the new version (support.vitalsource.com)
3) install it and restart the computer

When you re sign in with your email ALL the books should return to your library with the highlights and notes.

If you are still having trouble call tech support from the site they are 24/7 and they can check your status to let you know if it’s still updated or not.

It is that time of year again where students at our prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry undergo the transition from students to health professionals. The symbolic tradition of this tremendous accomplishment is through the annual White Coat Ceremony, taking place this May 12, 2018. The class of 2018 is asking for your support to fund this final rite of passage. Donations of any size are welcomed and all donators will receive recognition during the ceremony as well as on the alumni page. The class of 2018 would like to extend their gratitude for all of the contributions made throughout their time at the university and for the continued support for their success.

This time next week- the first of team Howard will be off to Kingston, JA on a Dental Mission Trip through the Christian Dental Society to offer dental services to the underserved communities. The week after the second team is off to Montego Bay! Safe travel and Good Vibes for those attending and Special thank you to faculty Dr. Reginald Salter for putting the programs together!

Do things that inspire others! These committed members of the 2018 HUCD class spent the entire weekend/tons of hours providing free dental services to those in need! They were able to register 494 patients and provide $143,000 dollars worth of dental work the first day alone! Great job guys! So proud!

Taking a step further in our global out reach meet student doctors Meeraj Patel Shamoona Sharif Sidak Singh Arvin Wong and Yasamin Abedzadeh representing HUCD Class of 2018 in Nicaragua. By taking extra effort these student docs were able to go accomplish this mission as a non traditional trip and provide treatment to those in need of oral care!

Shout out to two awesome student doctors from the class of 2018! Nereen Hassan and Fal Ali spread the good will world wide this summer and spent time in Katmandu, Nepal providing dental services to an underserved population!
