Welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta at The George Washington University's official page! Instagram They were leading the way for women in higher education.

Nearly 150 years ago, Kappa Alpha Theta was founded as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. Our founders recognized dedication, intelligence, and commitment in one another, and they also understood the potential of the college women who would follow in their footsteps. In the decades since then, Theta has continued to be recognized as a leading women’s group. Our ideas and programs have of

Today’s Theta Senior Spotlight is 💫

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” Without joining Theta, I never would’ve met some of the most important people in the world to me. The endless love I’ve received from my sisters has pushed me to be kinder and more confident, encouraging me to be the best version of myself every single day. I don’t know what I’d do without my little family who put up with my endless shenanigans and, above all else, my little who I couldn’t possibly be more proud of. As thrilled as I am to be graduating, I find that saying goodbye to Theta is harder than I ever could have imagined. All my love to Gamma Kappa 💛🖤.

After graduation, I will be working as a Project Manager for Epic in Madison, WI.

Joining Theta was one of the best decisions I made at GW! I am so incredibly grateful for all of the memories and friends Theta has brought me. Theta has provided me with a community that is uplifting and has allowed me to be myself.

One of my favorite memories in Theta was living in Strong sophomore year! It was so fun to live on an entire floor of Thetas and always having someone down to hang out!

Happy Theta Thursday! Today’s Senior Spotlight is 🌟

I am so endlessly grateful for my time in Theta. Four years, countless memories, and friendships that will last a lifetime 🫀 Being part of this sisterhood has shaped me into who I am today.

Theta brought me closer to my best friend Sophia, and also gave me Lizzie and the most amazing big/little family. Highly recommend committing to big/little so hard you live together, it’s the best decision I ever made.

After graduation, I’ll be continuing my education by pursuing a master’s in advertising, and I’ll be carrying everything Theta has given me every step of the way.

Gamma Kappa loves you, Bella💛

Happy Theta Thursday! Today’s Senior Spotlight is ✨

Joining Theta is easily the best decision I made in undergrad. I’m so beyond thankful for all the friendships and memories it’s given me, and I know I’ll carry them with me forever. Going into sorority recruitment as a freshman, I wanted to find my future bridesmaids. Four years later I can confidently say I’ve found just that. Being apart of this chapter and Panhellenic as a whole has taught and pushed me so much in ways I never expected when I first joined Greek life. I couldn’t imagine my undergraduate experience without Theta. It truly has become my home away from home. After college I plan on going into wealth management!

Gamma Kappa loves you, Kayli💛

Our first Theta Senior Spotlight is ⭐️

I’m so grateful for my time in Theta at GW. It brought me some of my life long best friends. You always think that when older people tell you you’ll meet your best friends in college and that maybe it’s not always true, but I can say it is and I imagine I will always be friends with the girls that I have met. My favorite memory is when me and a few other Thetas went to go visit our friend in Newport Beach!

After graduation I plan to get my masters (or two) in the fall and become an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner.

Gamma Kappa loves you, Niamh💛
