Becoming a mother after the age of 40 isn't about age. It's about biological health, resilience, and purpose. Midlife is actually a most wonderful time to raise your child (or children) because you will feel increased motivation, purpose, and resilience. All of which are contributing factors for longevity and for aging actually slower than many other people.

BecauseI had my son over the age of 40, I am three times more likely to make it to 100!! Share this post with women who need to hear good news about later Motherhood!!!

Aging is not passive. We actively participate in our own aging process every single day.
Biological age responds to agency, mindset, and emotional regulation. All of which increases once we reach midlife and our wisdom years ❤️

Healthy aging, longevity, and potentially a lower biological age all start with nervous system regulation and not wirh punishment. Mastering aging isn't about control. It's about cooperation - between you and your body!! Once your body feels safe, your biological age can improve. Start loving your body first,.then your biomakers will improve!! 🤗

Anti-Aging starts in the nervous system. Your thoughts influence stress chemistry and because of this it influences your biological age. here's the thing, stress levels often rise because of our self-talk and what we say to ourselves about our environment or the state of the world. Doesn't matter. The point is that our body will respond to any stressful thoughts that you have. So let's start with one week of at least no negative self-talk! Please report back how differently you felt 🥰🥰

when we think about longevity and lowering our biological age, we usually think about the body. But it is your mind. that is actually the driving force of the biological process that is happening in your body.
A long-term Yale study showed already two dedicates ago that people who have a positive attitude towards getting older live 7, 5 years longer than those who are terrified by aging. Larry that sink in! And let's use our mind and the mind-body connection wisely!

The idea that your best years are behind you is one of the most damaging myths about midlife. The myth is designed to keep us small and to continue to seeking validation from the outside, as we've often done in our youth. But the best years of your life aren't tied to youth. they are tied to clarity, purpose and self-appreciation.

Your brain doesn't know how old you are but it responds to the signals you send it! Seriously, I often wonder how well we would all be doing as we get older if we would NOT constantly hear that aging is an inevitable decline. And that especially women's bodies are just a.ticking time bomb that will explode any moment now.

Without those messages and the negative narrative around getting older and aging -.how well would we all be doing in midlife and beyond? Let's create THAT reality for us,.shall we?!!

Aging doesn't automatically mean decline. Biological age response to stress, strengths, mindset, and purpose. Not just time. I just gave my first TEDx talk at age 55 and I swear I'm climbing the next summit! And if I should go downhill then it's on my skis only. 😜

I became a first-time mom at age 44 and I strongly believe in The Joy Of Later Motherhood (also the title of my super popular book 😍) ....

but I also had some tough times dealing with the sudden restriction (loss?) of my freedom and ability to go places without carrying two suitcases (it felt like) of baby stuff, stroller stuff and the baby boy himself.

So I came up with this rule that truly helped me and that I've share with countless moms and readers of my book. try it, it works! 🥰🥰

Rapid aging is not about getting older. It's about chronic stress, identity, recovery, and purpose. Your biological age response to its signals, not time. change. the signals and aging changes too. longevity and the lower biological age is possible for all of us if we take agency over the way we age.
