We have two exciting summer ‘25 Business & Society Series courses for all GWU graduate students! These intensive four-day programs (Wednesday-Saturday) provide unique opportunities to enhance your skills, expand your network, and experience firsthand why Washington, D.C. is such a great place to study business.
🤝 “The Art and Practice of Business-Government Relations” with Prof. Stuart Levy
In collaboration with the Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance, this course offers a deep dive into the world of business advocacy in a key industry. Students will engage directly with industry leaders and attend the ECA’s Legislative Action Day, where they’ll meet with congressional representatives on Capitol Hill to discuss policy issues impacting the events sector.
🤖 “Artificial Intelligence” with Prof. Thomas Debass
This course will provide students with cutting-edge tools and frameworks to leverage AI for strategic advantage. Drawing from diverse fields like economics, engineering, sociology, data science, and more, the class will explore both the present and future implications of AI on business models and industries including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and more!
These are 3-credit open enrollment classes. Summer registration opens Monday, March 17th so mark your calendar!

These 3-credit programs provide meaningful opportunities to build your resume, connect with fellow GWU students, and gain critical skills.
🌎 “Global Business Project with Hilton Hotels & Resorts” in Buenos Aires, Argentina with Prof. Nam Pham. This program is open to all GWU graduate and undergraduate students.
🌍 “The Changing Environment for International Business in Europe” hosted by WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in beautiful Vallendar, Germany. This program is open to all GWU graduate students.
🌏 “Global Immersion in Asia” hosted by National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan. This program is open to all GWU graduate students.
