Dr. Lee gave a keynote presentation at the IFAC Workshop on Lagrangian and Hamiltonian Methods for Nonlinear Control (LHMNC). Dr. Tejaswi also gave a talk about variational integration of stochastic mechanical hybrid systems.
The conference was held at a "gorgeous" city of eastern France, and we stayed at the hotel built in the early 19th century. The beauty of the place was indescribable and the friendless of the attendees was incomparable: it was the opposite to the industrialized conference that I usually attend.
Looking forward to the next meeting.

We are thrilled to announced that the team led by FDCL was awarded a research grant through the DoD Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) program.
The research project, entitled Unified LargeāScale Theoretical and Computational Frameworks for Invariance and Composition of Open Hybrid Dynamical Systems, is to investigate the inherent structures of complex hybrid systems through the perspectives of geometry, topology, homology, category, and uncertainties.
This is a collaborative research with mathematicians and engineers from University of Michigan, Rutgers University, and University of Florida, and the total award is $7.5M over five years.
Fiscal Year 2023 Research Funding Awards
The Defense Department announced $220 million in awards for basic research projects as part of the Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative Program.
