Harvard Club of Washington, DC is celebrating America 250 with a visit to the estate of George Washington, a Founding Father and the First President of the United States. We were kindly hosted by the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association for a fascinating lunch where we learned about George Washington’s connection to Harvard. We ended our tour with a wreath laying ceremony at George & Martha Washington’s tomb.
