The time has come for all of those coined by the phrase "locals", to come together and form an organization that will demonstrate the DMV's positivity and creativity in the HOWARD UNIVERSITY community as well as in our nations society!! An organization with the sole purpose of support and creative expression for students enrolled at Howard University home-based in the DMV (DC, MD, VA); as well as serving as a bridge between Howard University and the local community.

World AIDS Day 2015 is held on the 1st December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died.
World AIDS Day is important because it reminds the public and Government that HIV has not gone away – there is still a vital need to raise money, increase awareness, fight prejudice and improve education.
DMV Club will be passing out red ribbons and informative pamphlets in order to show support to the millions of people living with HIV.
